Description
Tesa 5mg is a 5mg vial of Tesa (tesamorelin), a GHRH analog, supplied by Evolve Peptides as freeze-dried powder. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
About Tesa (tesamorelin)
Tesamorelin is the full 44-amino-acid GHRH with a trans-3-hexenoyl group added. It’s FDA-approved as Egrifta for reducing abdominal fat in HIV-associated lipodystrophy.
It raises GH and IGF-1.
How Tesa acts in the lab
Tesamorelin binds the GHRH receptor and raises growth hormone and IGF-1. The hexenoyl group on the front end stops DPP-4 from cutting it, which makes it far more stable than natural GHRH.
Its best-documented effect is on visceral fat, the fat around the organs, which is what the Egrifta approval was based on.

Tesa purity and lab testing
We’ve put the lab paperwork for Tesa 5mg in the image gallery:
- A certificate of analysis with identity, measured quantity and HPLC purity.
- An endotoxin report from a kinetic LAL assay.

How to reconstitute Tesa 5mg
The volume of water you add sets the concentration. For a vial holding 5mg:
- 1ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/ml
- 2ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/ml
- 3ml of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/ml
Go with whichever number is easiest to work with in your protocol, and label the vial with the concentration and the date you mixed it.
Most labs use bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.
Storing Tesa 5mg
The dry powder keeps best cold: 2 to 8°C in the fridge, or -20°C for long-term storage. After reconstitution, store it in the fridge and finish it within roughly four weeks.
Other Tesa sizes

- Tesa 10mg: 10mg for $95.00, about $9.50 per mg
Tesa 5mg is the entry size, handy when you only need a little or want to try Tesa before committing to a bigger vial.

Tesa 5mg FAQ
How much is in the Tesa 5mg vial?
5mg of lyophilized powder. The amount is printed on the label.
Which size should I buy?
Pick by how much you’ll use. Bigger vials cost less per milligram, smaller ones mean less sits open in the fridge. The size comparison above lists every Tesa option.
Is Tesa 5mg lab tested?
Yes. The lab reports are in the product photos, so you can check purity before you order.
What do I mix Tesa 5mg with?
Sterile bacteriostatic water. The reconstitution section above shows the concentration for each volume.
How should I store it?
Sealed vials go in the fridge, or the freezer for long-term storage. Once mixed, refrigerate and use within about 28 days.
