Description
Our Sermorelin 5mg vial holds 5mg of lyophilized Sermorelin, a GHRH analog. It’s for in-vitro and lab research only.
Sermorelin at a glance
Sermorelin is GHRH(1-29), the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone releasing hormone. It’s the shortest fully active piece of GHRH.
It was FDA-approved as Geref for pediatric GH deficiency and later withdrawn for commercial reasons.
Sermorelin mechanism of action
Sermorelin is the shortest piece of GHRH that still works. It binds the GHRH receptor on the pituitary and triggers growth hormone release.
Because it works through the body’s own GH control, the pituitary’s feedback loops stay intact. The trade-off is a very short half-life.

How to reconstitute Sermorelin 5mg
The volume of water you add sets the concentration. For a vial holding 5mg:
- 1ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/ml
- 2ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/ml
- 3ml of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/ml
Pick the volume that keeps your own calculations simple, then write the concentration and the mixing date on the label.
Most labs use bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.
Storage and shelf life
The dry powder keeps best cold: 2 to 8°C in the fridge, or -20°C for long-term storage. After reconstitution, store it in the fridge and finish it within roughly four weeks.
Choosing a Sermorelin size
- Sermorelin 5mg (this page): 5mg for $45.00, about $9.00 per mg
- Sermorelin 10mg: 10mg for $75.00, about $7.50 per mg
Sermorelin 5mg is the smallest option. It’s the one to start with for a pilot run or when you’re testing a new protocol.
