Description
TB-500 10mg from Evolve Peptides is 10mg of TB-500 in a sealed glass vial. TB-500 is a synthetic thymosin beta-4 peptide. It’s for in-vitro and lab research only.
What is TB-500?
Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell, where it binds actin and helps control cell movement. TB-500 is the name used for synthetic thymosin beta-4 and for a short fragment of its active region.
It’s on the WADA prohibited list and isn’t an approved medicine.
How TB-500 acts in the lab
Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the building block of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.
Cell movement is the first step in repair, so that’s the link to the wound and blood vessel studies. The fragment often sold as TB-500 contains the actin-binding region, LKKTETQ.

What the research says about TB-500
Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.
Bock-Marquette and colleagues reported in Nature (2004) that thymosin beta-4 improved heart cell survival after injury in mice.

TB-500 10mg reconstitution and concentration
Here’s the math for 10mg of peptide:
- 1ml of bacteriostatic water gives 10mg/ml
- 2ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/ml
- 3ml of bacteriostatic water gives 3.33mg/ml
Go with whichever number is easiest to work with in your protocol, and label the vial with the concentration and the date you mixed it.
Most labs use bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.
Storage and shelf life
Store sealed vials in the fridge (2 to 8°C) or freezer (-20°C), away from light. Mixed solution goes back in the fridge and should be used within about 28 days.
TB-500 purity and lab testing
Scroll through the TB-500 10mg photos and you’ll find:
- A certificate of analysis with identity, measured quantity and HPLC purity.
- An independent Janoshik Analytical test report. You can verify it on janoshik.com with the key printed at the bottom.
Click any image to zoom in on the numbers. Where a report names a different size, the lab tested a sibling TB-500 vial. Read the purity line, not the quantity line, when comparing.
Choosing a TB-500 size
- TB-500 5mg: 5mg for $50.00, about $10.00 per mg
- TB-500 10mg (this page): 10mg for $90.00, about $9.00 per mg
TB-500 10mg is the largest size we stock and the cheapest per milligram. It suits longer studies where you’d otherwise reorder.
