Description
Our Kisspeptin-10 5mg vial holds 5mg of lyophilized Kisspeptin-10, a neuropeptide. It’s for in-vitro and lab research only.
About Kisspeptin-10
Kisspeptin-10 is the ten-amino-acid active fragment of kisspeptin, a hormone that triggers GnRH release in the hypothalamus. It’s central to puberty and reproductive hormone control.
It’s used in research on LH and testosterone release.
How Kisspeptin-10 works
Kisspeptin binds KISS1R (also called GPR54) on GnRH neurons in the hypothalamus. That triggers GnRH release, which in turn tells the pituitary to release LH and FSH.
Loss-of-function mutations in KISS1R stop puberty from starting, which is how its role was discovered. Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest fragment that fully activates the receptor.

What the research says about Kisspeptin-10
Dhillo and colleagues reported in 2005 that kisspeptin raised LH and testosterone in healthy men.
George and colleagues later studied kisspeptin-10 infusions in men.

Lab testing for Kisspeptin-10 5mg
Scroll through the Kisspeptin-10 5mg photos and you’ll find:
- A certificate of analysis with identity, measured quantity and HPLC purity.
- An endotoxin report from a kinetic LAL assay.

Reconstituting Kisspeptin-10 5mg
The volume of water you add sets the concentration. For a vial holding 5mg:
- 1ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/ml
- 2ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/ml
- 3ml of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/ml
Choose the volume that suits your measurements. Mark the vial with the concentration and date so nobody has to guess later.
Use sterile bacteriostatic water. Warm the sealed vial to room temperature first so no condensation gets in, add the water slowly along the glass wall, and swirl gently until it’s clear. Never shake.
Storing Kisspeptin-10 5mg
Unopened, keep Kisspeptin-10 5mg in a fridge at 2 to 8°C, or in a freezer at -20°C if it’ll be a while before you use it. Keep it out of direct light. Once mixed, keep it refrigerated and use it within about 28 days, which is how long bacteriostatic water stays good after opening.
